Life after secondary school is one thing but life after Starlets Academy is another thing. When people graduate from other schools, not too much is expected from them but when we graduate from Starlets Academy, a lot is expected because the school was once regarded as a “finishing school”. So, it is until we all get to the real world, that is when we will actually know if we have become ladies or if we still have a few laps to becoming ladies.
After graduating from Starlets Academy, some of us intend to take a gap year so that we can learn a few crafts, such as make–up, artistry, culinary arts, programming, hairdressing, web design and so many other crafts. Other people intend to go straight to college for foundation year and A’level courses while very few will end up going straight to the university of their choice, whether in Nigeria or overseas. People would like to keep their colleges and universities confidential because a lot of them are still seeking admission. A survey showed that the following schools with statistics are the institutions Class 2017 have indicated interest in. Whereas the remaining 24.86% are undecided.

For many of us, life after Starlets Academy entails zero–affiliation with the school and a total disconnection from the staff and a few students. For some, life after Starlets Academy entails frequent promotion and marketing of the school as well as coming back to the school to empower students.
A lot of us have realized that life after Starlets Academy is not going to be a bed of roses because the world is very competitive and most of our career choices are not new to the world. So, we are ready to combine everything we have learnt in Starlets Academy to help us succeed in life. We will never forget the question, “Who Am I”?
We have metaphorically become the wise tortoise who usually sticks out its neck for it to move. There are going to be times in our lives when we will have to stick our neck out. There will be challenges and instead of hiding in our shells, we have to face them headlong.
